Meet Cute in Manhattan is a romantic comedy feature directed by Karen Morey and released for streaming in March 2025.
As Production Coordinator, I owned the operational backbone of the shoot in New York City, from pre-production through wrap and into premiere support. I coordinated a 100+ person cast and crew, tracked a $500K budget, and kept schedules, vendors, and logistics moving without losing momentum.
Two of my biggest location wins were securing film permits for Central Park and Grand Central Terminal, including the pivotal terminal sequence. I handled the permit process and logistics and secured the terminal access under budget. We also filmed during the terminal’s closed hours for cleaning, which gave the team a rare window to work efficiently in a normally crowded space.
Beyond permits, I served as a location scout and led the scheduling function across departments. My days lived in call sheets, talent and crew scheduling, production calendars, vendor coordination, and constant problem-solving across transportation, gear, and site constraints. I also supported post-production and premiere logistics so the handoff from production to release stayed organized and calm.
This role demanded speed, precision, and a steady presence. I kept the team aligned, protected time and budget, and made sure the work stayed possible, even in the tightest NYC conditions.
